This in-situ system is designed specifically for wet scrubber emission monitoring. It detects and measures fluorine (F2), hydrogen chloride (HCl), hydrogen fluoride (HF), and chlorine (Cl2) as well as other fluoride and chloride gases and serves as a means of monitoring the efficiency and/or controlling wet scrubber systems.
The system provides accurate "breakthrough" detection even in environments with 100% RH, 60% or more hydrogen, and little or no oxygen content. It has no moving parts to wear out and does not require sample lines or sample conditioning systems.
