Website Covers High-Vacuum Deposition Systems Offered By CHA Industries
FREMONT, California, June 01, 2000—CHA Industries, of Fremont, California, announces the availability of their new Internet website, which provides product and applications information for the company's line of High-Vacuum Deposition Systems designed for precision coating of fixed and flexible substrates.
According to Richard Roth, President of CHA Industries, "We have positioned our website to enable users to quickly match their coating application with the most appropriate CHA deposition system and immediately get information on that particular unit."
The website features CHA's new-generation Mark 50 High-Vacuum Deposition System, designed for precision coating of both fixed and flexible substrates, a load lock chamber for source isolation, and interactive computer control of system operation. Additionally, a computer-programmable industrial robot is available for loading of substrates onto most types of Mark 50 fixturing.
Using a special CHA-designed web roll fixture, the Mark 50 can coat a variety of flexible substrates such as flat panel displays, solar cells, flexible printed circuits, electromagnetic shields, capacitors, and second-cell (rechargeable) batteries, as well as coating thin plastic and copper foil, ITO, AR film, magnetic tape, and consumer product packaging.
Fixed substrate applications for the Mark 50 systems include precision coating of semiconductor materials, LEDs, MEMs, and MR/MGR heads, as well as a wide range of components and materials in the optical, sensor, magnetic media, medical, automotive, aviation, and metallurgical fields.
CHA's website also features the CHA SSC-1000 Sputtering System, which focuses on automatic control and ergonomic design for high operating efficiency. The system, which can be used for either sputter up or sputter down operation, incorporates a PLC/PC-based control system for automatic operation. The system's process chamber and fixturing minimizes operator fatigue while maximizing efficiency. The substrate carrier rolls out for convenience in loading and unloading and the base plates are accessible outside of the system for ease of servicing.
Information on the website also presents CHA's full line of evaporation and sputtering deposition systems designed for applications ranging from high volume production to small laboratory quantities. The company also provides a variety of deposition system accessories such as fixturing, sources, pumps, and power supplies.
When available, CHA supplies and supports rebuilt or remanufactured equipment and assemblies directly to customers. CHA does not contract or support the rebuilding or remanufacture of CHA equipment by other companies.
