Sievers Ultrapure PPT on-line TOC instrument offers unsurpassed sensitivity and accuracy for low level TOC monitoring of ultrapure water. With its automated, on-line calibration system, the PPT is the only TOC instrument with verifiable performance. The PPT employs Sievers patented membrane conductivity technology and therefore eliminates the false positives typical with older, on-line technology.

In fact, the PPT features a new parameter, TOx indication, a measure of the amount of organics containing halogens, phosphorus, nitrogen, or sulfur. These TOx compounds are the principal offenders in creating false positives, and monitoring TOx levels can indicate changing levels of trihalomethane contaminants or degrading exchange resins. With TOx indication and verifiably accurate performance, PPT offers a whole new way to monitor the quality of ultrapure water.
