Training

AutoSimulations, Inc., a Brooks Automation Companymulations' training philosophy is to provide a fundamental understanding of our products to every participant in a classroom environment. We introduce students to all of the features of AutoMod and AutoSched AP and their companion products. Training for Real Time Dispatcher and APF Reporter are provided on site.

Product documentation is strongly reinforced during training. This encourages participants to rely on reference manuals in actual model building. Our instruction is fast paced, but personalized. We provide individualized assistance during the instruction. Our instructors are eager to help participants with modeling strategies and tips during class time.

Production scheduling and simulation modeling frequently involve an abstraction to accurately represent a real-world situation. It is AutoSimulations' goal to provide straightforward approaches for representation of physical entities within the framework of the products. There is an acquired skill in developing an appropriate approach to each model and schedule, and this skill improves with experience.

In each AutoSimulations class students do exercises on personal computers using the NT 4.0 operating system to reinforce the concepts taught. General knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT will be helpful. AutoSimulations has found that teaming two attendees per computer enhances learning.
