ThermoStream System

The Model TP04100A ThermoStream System offers precision, performance, versatility and value in a benchtop airstream system. The compact unit provides precisely controlled temperature from –20 º to 225 ºC for the testing of components and devices at the tester site and/or on a printed circuit board. CE approved and bearing the European Community CE Mark, the system is designed to also meet standard requirements for UL and CSA approval.

Optimizing thermal test throughput, the system transitions devices between set temperatures with speed using Smart Tuning and the company's Dual Loop DUT (Device Under Test) Control directly from the DUT surface temperature. The system's airflow is user-settable from 2 to 6 scfm at the front panel for efficiently bringing devices to temperature.

For agility at the test site, the compact system can be operated by holding the lightweight Thermal Wand over the DUT or by operating the Thermal Wand from the optional Benchmount Stand. The stand's expanding, locking arm and rotation to 340º assist in the proper placement of the thermal nozzle directly over the DUT at the test site. The unit occupies minimal space in the test area with a small footprint.

At the Quick Set and Select front panel and brightly illuminated graphical screen, menu-driven control simplifies system operation. Basic cold/ambient/hot thermal test parameters or Ramp/Soak/Cycle thermal profiling routines can be set in "Manual Mode". Advanced thermal profiling programs can be pre-set in "Program Operation Mode" including "At Temperature" Windows, Patented DUT Mode and up to ten test set-ups. The graphical screen displays air and DUT temperatures, operational test parameters and status and other pertinent information. In addition, both Type "T" and Type "K" DUT thermocouple inputs are also integral to the system for DUT Control.

Fully ATE Compatible, the system can also be operated via IEEE-488 or RS232 interface. Start Test/End of Test/Stop on First Fail MCT Standard Tester interface is included as well, for ATE Compatibility.
