Storagetek Adopts Cliosoft's Design Data Management solution
FREMONT, Calif., USA-May 31, 2000- <%=company%>, an EDA company focused on improving electronic design team productivity with its design data management system, announced today that StorageTek(or Storage Technology Corp.) (NYSE:STK) (Louisville, Colo., USA) has adopted ClioSoft's SOS design data management solution for managing StorageTek's Shared Virtual Array (SVA) product design files and configurations.
SOS licenses are available company wide for use by all of StorageTek's design teams.
SOS improves a design team's productivity by non-intrusively managing design data and enhancing designer-to-designer and designer-to-manager communication. By using SOS, design team leaders can track progress and tape-out designs with less overhead and more confidence.
According to Steve Remme, senior design engineer at StorageTek, "We evaluated several options before we selected ClioSoft's SOS. The SOS user interface was the most intuitive, allowed for customization, eliminated several cryptic command line scripts and makes it easier for us to manage our design databases, more than 2000 files, for each of our different card types."
Remme noted, "ClioSoft's SOS is being used in the same design environment as tools from Mentor, Synopsys and Cadence."
