SK Series Probe Cards
The 48 pin version has 96 solder lands for mounting probes and are arranged in 48 connected pairs. The pairs are connected with a cuttable etch to provide for convenient mounting and connection of Kelvin probes.
The 70, 100 and 120 pin versions have the same number of probe lands as on the edge connector of each model. Cards are manufactured to the standard 6.5 inches in width but can be ordered and trimmed to 6.0 inch width.
The probe cards are designed to accommodate patch wiring to assign probes to specific scanner channels as is required for the older ESI laser systems. However, when used with programable measurement systems the cards are ready to go with traces in place from the probe lands directly to the edge connector.
The probe cards are fabricated from FR-4 material. The layouts are carefully designed to minimize probe to probe leakage and every card has a liquid imagable photomask to protect the probe card's surface from laser trim dust and other contaminants. Every probe card is reinforced with a thick FR-4 stiffener that is laminated to the underside of the probe card. This attention to design, construction and electrical performance is what separates Accuprobe cards from the competition.
