SiTest Solutions Standardizes On Verigy V5000e For Flash Memory Test
CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verigy (NASDAQ:VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today announced that SiTest Solutions Ltd., a leading service provider for test engineering solutions and services, selected Verigy's V5000 family as its flash memory test platform. The V5000e will permit SiTest Solutions to add NAND flash and specialty memory testing to its expanding list of capabilities.
SiTest Solutions chose the V5000e because it offers a complete, integrated solution to meet the needs of its customers from engineering development through release to high-volume production test for a broad range of memory device types. SiTest Solutions has already used the V5000e to develop a test application for a 16Gb/32Gb solid state drive (SSD) device featuring integrated NAND flash memory and memory controller in one package. With the V5000e, SiTest Solutions significantly reduced its development and device characterization time. This helped to speed the time-to-volume production for the SSD device.
