The STA-3100 shear tester is a combination ball, pull, and die shear-test system. Both the X and Z axes are programmable and capable of shearing 100Kg and pulling 50Kg of force for testing BGAs and fine-pitch wire bonds. The STA-3100, which is easily set up and configured, allows the user to select destruct or nondestruct test modes, shear speeds, tool height placement, as well as transfer from one type of test to another. Auto transducer calibration is standard.
