Founded in 1985, SEMY Engineering is the leading provider of Production-Proven APC Solutions™ to the semiconductor industry. SEMY partners with its customers to provide productivity monitoring tools, Automatic Fault Detection and Advanced Run-To-Run Control. These solutions identify throughput bottlenecks, reduce scrap, improve productivity and yield. SEMY's APC (Advanced Process Control) product line is based on a wealth of experience from all process areas in the factory. The product line includes extensive capabilities to analyze and control the most sophisticated process equipment. SEMY also offers control system products, including a robust state-of-the-art Model Based Control technology.

SEMY's business consists of two major segments, which are currently specialized for the semiconductor industry. The Control Systems unit offers a process sequencer for diffusion furnaces, featuring state-of-the-art model based temperature control technology. The SEMY Supervisory unit offers an extensive set of advanced applications based on the analysis of process data collected automatically during each process run. The architecture of these applications and the underlying data collection technology enable SEMY to quickly adapt its solutions to the most current and demanding control applications.
