Semitool Hires Bill Freeman as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Semitool, Inc. (Kalispell, MT) appointed William A. Freeman as vice president, chief financial officer, filling the vacant executive position. The company's products include batch and single substrate spray chemical processing tools, thermal processing equipment and wafer carrier cleaning systems.

Prior to joining Semitool, and since 1995, Freeman was an independent management consultant specializing in finance and general management services to private companies. Before that, he was president of Zurn Industries, a diversified manufacturing, engineering, and construction company. In his 22 years at Zurn, Freeman served in division management positions before his appointment as senior vice president and chief financial officer in 1986, and president in 1991.

Freeman is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS. He serves on the board of NPC International, Inc.
