RSLogix 5000 Programming Software Now In Chinese, Japanese And Korean

Chinese

Mayfield Heights, OH - The new Rockwell Software RSLogix 5000 v.15 programming software from Rockwell Automation has undergone translation and is now available in Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) languages, allowing control system designers and system-level users in these countries to more easily access a programming environment in their native language. In addition to translation of the software environment, RSLogix 5000 has also been updated to support UNICODE based text so users can create project documentation using languages that require double byte characters such as Kanji.

Previously only offered in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, the new CJK translation for RSLogix 5000 helps enable Rockwell Automation to deliver the right set of functionality to users in key Asian markets. According to the company, while the translation will benefit customers in a broad range of industries and applications, it will specifically respond to the increased demand for flexible language functionality in automotive and semiconductor and process control industries.

Additionally, corresponding technical documentation such as programming manuals, reference manuals, system reference manuals, user manuals, and selection guides are published in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Together the translated software and technical documents create an easy-to-use software for the Allen-Bradley Logix control platform user, claim the company sources.
