The Bethlehem Corporationary Louvre Dryer System, material passes through a rotating cylinder with a current of tempered air. Louvres give intimate contact between product and drying/cooling air stream, causing less product breakdown, and they can be configured for multi-stage drying, or drying and cooling. The system is constructed of carbon steel, stainless steel or custom alloy steel plate.
The system's air heaters can be either direct (oil or gas fired) or indirect (air to air). The standard sizes are 800mm/dia. x 1.8m L - 3.5m/dia. x 14m L, but can be constructed larger if required. The dryer systems are suitable for applications involving sugar processing, animal feed, chemicals, foods, minerals, industrial and domestic waste.
