Sapphire Software, Inc.and access management system, designated Dream Server, allows the creation of a secure, off-line recipe editing environment for process engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel that use the company's Visual Recipe Editor (VRE). The WindowsNT-based server application allows engineering managers to configure each user's recipe editing rights up to the parameter level. The system is engineered to integrate with commercial or in-house recipe management systems. It also allows process engineering managers to set various process control limits for individual recipes within the ranges pre-defined by equipment suppliers.
