Pyropel is a unique, rigid, lightweight polyimide fiberboard with superior insulating properties across a broad temperature range, -300° F to + 550° F. Pyropel will remain thermally and dimensionally stable at temperatures up to 800° F. In addition, Pyropel does not melt drip or support combustion and has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Pyropel is produced through a patented three-dimensional process that results in a tough, resilient structure with exceptional rigidity and strength. Pyropel is manufactured in a wide variety of thickness' and densities to meet specific application needs. Pyropel rigid insulation is easy to cut, machine and fabricate and requires no special tools.
