Prudential Cleanroom Services, a world leader in cleanroom laundry service systems, today announced that it has completed ISO 9001: 2000 certification. This certification applies to its corporate headquarters and its national network of ISO Class cleanroom laundry processing facilities located in Los Angeles and Milpitas, California, Mesa, Arizona and Richmond, Virginia. The certificate of Registration is for providing cleanroom apparel and other contamination control products and services for use in controlled environments. The certificate is based upon a registration audit conducted by the internationally recognized registrar TUV Management Service GmbH.

Prudential undertook the quality certification process as part of its long-term commitment to its customers to provide unsurpassed contamination control products and services. The certification was received after an intensive in-house effort from within Prudential's quality assurance group along with all affected cleanroom division personnel. "The entire organization is extremely proud of the cleanroom division's ISO 9002 certification. This enhances Prudential's ongoing commitment to quality," said Tom Watts, president of Prudential Overall Supply.

Prudential received its initial Certificate of Registration to ISO 9002 in March 2000. TUV Management Services conducts regular surveillance audits of Prudential Cleanroom Services and has consistently found Prudential has and applies a quality management system compliant to the current ISO Standard.
