New Family of Parallel Seam Sealers

Solid State Equipment Corporation Equipment Corporation offers the new Model 2300 family of parallel seam sealers that can handle packages down to 1 mm square. Four models are available, each designed for specific, individualized sealing needs, ranging from one-up sealing to digital lid placement and full automation. The family is fully upgradable, giving its users optimum sealing technology with the latitude to grow as their needs demand.

The base unit in the series is the Model 2300 PSS- a manually-loaded parallel seam sealer that allows weld or solder sealing in linear or rotary mode, with maximumreliability and precision. Automation features can be added to this primary model to expand its capabilities. With the Model 2300 PSS/DLL, digital lid loading automates the lid placement process. Driven by a fully digitized, dual vision system on both the package and the lid, a compliant nozzle moves the lid from either a cartridge or bowl feeder and executes precise placement. This eliminates one of the major sources of product loss- lid placement errors. The Model 2300 Cassette Automation allows users to benefit from the efficiency of batch automation by loading complete trays or cassettes of packages for sealing. The Model 2300 Full Automation incorporates both digital lid loading and cassette automation for high-productivity, high-yield sealing.
