Modular Test System
The Piranha has been developed for testing standard components -- from sensors, op amps and data converters to analog-intensive ICs like microcontrollers in system-on-chip solutions.
The 3300 features a small footprint, low power consumption, and can be equipped with up to 64 digital test pins with data rates of up to 200 MHz, and with analog test pins with output levels to a maximum of 100 volts and maximum resolution of 20 bits. Users can also add up to 24 voltage/current sources with performance up to a maximum of 2,000 V or 300 Amps; DSP instruments for testing digital audio, video and xDSL components; and 16 RF ports for measuring and stimulating frequencies ranging up to seven GHz.
The entire hardware is incorporated in a 19-inch mainframe, resulting in an extremely small footprint.
The system can be supplied with or without a test head. High test throughput is achieved by implementing a tester-per-pin architecture, using DSP-based analog instruments and permitting up to quadruple multi-site tests.
