The uniquely flexible Model 852 easily handles and inspects a wide variety of device types - SOIC, SSOP, TSOP, TSSOP, MSOP, PDIP, T0263, QSOP, SOJ and others. Devices can be input via tubes or tesec trays, and output to tubes, tesec trays, or an optional tape and reel. Failed devices are diverted into an array of user-definable reject/rework tubes.

NT-based system software enables quick device mark and lead training and user-friendly device recipe and data logging setup. Setup information, collected data, and lot status can be viewed real-time in scalable windows.

Other options include: device rotator; laser marking; open/short testing; audible light pole; ionizer; and remote monitoring.
