Corrosion resistant miniature ball screws are suited for semiconductor equipment applications because they provide an alternative to acme screws. They are 90% efficient in converting rotary linear motion and can be used with lower torque motor. They also have a 200% higher load capacity or an 800% longer life when compared with acme screws and a 19% higher load capacity or an 800% longer travel life than ball screws.

The miniature ball screws feature a 0.375-in.-dia. and a 0.125-in. lead. They are available in a variety of platings and coatings. Nut options include flanged, V-thread and trunnion, adjustable, preloaded, antibacklash, and combinations of these options. End matching, stops, wipers, custom nut housings, and lubrication are available.
