Maptrak™ Express 300mm Sorter Family

Brooks Automation is proud to announce the global acceptance of the Fab Ready™ 300mm sorter product family. The new 300mm sorter product family represents the integration of Brooks' newly acquired sorter business unit (Irvine Optical) with Brooks' best-in-class robotics, air flow, and particulate controls together with the 300mm FOUP load ports which were invented by Brooks Factory Interfaces business unit in Jena, Germany.

Brooks is uniquely positioned to deliver superior sorter solutions to support the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers in their 300mm programs. Brooks products are supported by their global manufacturing facilities as well as by their engineering service teams, which provide local support to customers around the world.

The MapTrak Express (MTX) systems are configurable for 2 and 4 BOLTS load ports. They handle Front Opening Unified Pods (FOUP), FOSB and reduced pitch FOSB. MapTrak systems can also be programmed to support 200mm SMIF pods and cassettes.

The MTX systems incorporate Brooks Direct Drive Robotics and load port family. The systems leverage Brooks' easy user-interface and AMHS communications software. The MTX is fully compliant with SEMI standards for automation interfaces. MTX options include a choice of: filter systems, character reading systems, macro inspection, stocker integration, language interfaces and load port configurations. Additional options include, mini environment features such as pressure and airflow control.
