Macrolite

As an alternative technology to traditional media, sand and membrane filtration, Kinetico's Macrolite technology is a highly effective water filtration media that removes suspended solids as small as three microns. It is unique in shape, surface condition and size. The rounded shape provides a relatively uniform matrix of interstitial passages between media granules. These uniform passages are key to the media's outstanding flow versus removal relationship. The rough textured surface physically captures small and mid-sized particles as the water passes through the media bed. It is available in a variety of sizes, has a coefficient uniformity of 1.1-1.2 and can be customized to meet special application requirements.

Macrolite is affordable with comparatively low operating and capital investment costs. Chemically inert and compatible with most types of acids, caustics and oxidants, Macrolite has an extremely long service life.
