M32AT Test Handler

The M32AT Plunge-to-Board Test Handler is based on the company's M32 high speed multi-functional platform. It offers a four-up true vertical plunge-to-board capability for two-sided microdevices and/or any component in plastic tubes or multi-tracks.

It reduces gravity motion to a minimum in order to maximize MTBA (mean time between assists) and to completely avoid lead damage. It combines rotary and linear movements with a newly developed transfer system.

Up to four devices are simultaneously plunged into the sockets of the lead board, allowing high frequency and low current tests. Small pitch ICs can be connected to the test head through the automatic re-centering plunger units without stress on their leads.

Designed to conserve factory floor space with a compact footprint, the M32AT can merge a variety of subsystems including orientation, laser marking, mark inspection, three-dimensional lead inspection and multi-bin sorting of components into tubes and tape and reel.

The unit offers a throughput of 10,000 units per hour for one second test time.
