Low Cost Machine Vision System

The new CV-500 Series machine vision system, the industry's first vision system with a built-in monitor and controller, offers the powerful detection and measurement capabilities of high-end vision systems at 1/3 the cost. Keycene's E.A.S.Y. (Easy Action SYstem) greatly shortens setup time by reducing complex functions to simple commands with easy-to-use, context-sensitive, pull-down menus. The compact system includes an integrated "one-touch" controller and a camera that meaure only 1.2 in. square.

Additional features include: 24.5 million sub-pixel processing; measurement of OD, ID, pitch, gap and more; and adjustable target angle compensation to correct for target position variations.

Independent processors permit the simultaneous use of two cameras with no speed loss. Hence, two images can be processed simultaneously and a split-screen display can display both images simultaneously.

A unique Normalized Correlation function uses built-in digital image processing algorithms to maintain accurate, stable image detection even when the illumination is substantially reduced. All operations are performed with built-in processor electronics so that neither a PC nor complex software are required.

NPN open collector(9x), 50 mA max. (30 V max.) and N.O./N.C. control outputs are offered for actuation of alarm or signalling devices.
