KYEC Purchases Electroglas EG6000 300mm Wafer Probers For Multi-Temperature Testing

San Jose, CA - Electroglas, Inc., a supplier of wafer probers for the semiconductor industry, recently announced that KYEC, Hsin Chu, Taiwan, has purchased the Electroglas EG6000 for multi-temperature production testing of 300mm wafers. This purchase followed an extended production evaluation where the EG6000 proved to be superior in testing 300mm wafers in a thermally active test environment.

Mark Chou, Director, Logic and Mx CP Division, KYEC, said "The EG6000 performance has proven to be superior to our existing platforms when used in the challenging multi-test environment demanded by our customer base. The production test results from the EG6000 have confirmed that this is a very stable and precise platform for testing at different temperature range in use at KYEC and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Electroglas."
