The IPS-200 pressure switch provides economical pressure monitoring with set point indication in the high purity, toxic, and corrosive gas environments found in the semiconductor manufacturing industry

The IPS-200 pressure switch provides economical pressure monitoring with set point indication in the high purity, toxic, and corrosive gas environments found in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Available in low-mount and center-back mount configurations, the 2-in.-dia. pressure switch provides accurate (±2% of full scale) indication of gas pressure.

The instrument incorporates a magnetically actuated, hermetically sealed reed switch capable of operating low voltage annunciators, lights, or relays. When used with the appropriate pull-up or pull-down resistors, the monitor can be connected to the input port of a microprocessor or to a logic network. The pressure switch also can be used to provide inputs to a programmable controller.

In both the single- and dual-set point models, the switch action can be changed by the user and is configurable to close on increasing pressure (high alarm) or close on decreasing pressure (low alarm). In the case of the dual set point model, the switch modes are high/high alarm or low/low alarm. The pressure switch is EXIA, CSA, and CE approved, and is considered a simple apparatus.

When connected to a resistive barrier, the pressure switch conforms to UL913, NFPA, and ANSI/ISA RP12.6. The pressure switch is available with face seal fittings, tube stub, or NPT connections, has Type 316L stainless steel internal surfaces, and features electropolished face seals, glands, and sockets with less than 10 Ra surface finish. The company will supply the product through its global distribution partner network so each of a corporation's operating facilities will receive local support throughout the life of the gas distribution system.
