Internet-Based Information Service for Foundry Customers
The service has been recast on a new search engine and gives users the ability to customize their access to technology, services, business history, international calendars, and foundry service manuals. Users can now access technical reports, including design rules, mask data and yield analyses, online rather than via hard copy. The site also includes links to DesignSphere Access from Synopsys, Avanti and TSMC; TSMC 9000; and Internet Layout Viewer.
Prototyping transactions that are currently supported include one-stop tape-out services, mask tooling requests, and foundry order placement.
Production information includes visibility into all of the IC manufacturing steps, including order placement, product status, mask status and wafer acceptance test reports.
The service features an e-mail in-box providing automatic updates and the ability to communicate directly with TSMC support personnel.
