HPS Cold Cathode Controller
The Vacuum Products Group of MKS Instruments, Inc., is introducing the new HPS Series 943 Cold Cathode Gauge Controller equipped to measure medium to ultrahigh vacuum pressures. The HPS Series 943 will operate the HPS I-Mag Gauge or the HPS Series 421 Cold Cathode Gauge with a measurement range of 102 to 1010 Torr. The 943 controller includes LED digital readout, two adjustable setpoints with LEDs, high voltage protection and analog output. Measurement units available are Torr, mbar or Pascal. HPS cold cathode are inverted magnetron sensors designed with an isolated collector, making the sensor less susceptible to contamination and allowing a wider range of pressure measurement while allowing a high operating temperature. The Vacuum Products Group of MKS manufactures HPS vacuum components and valves with ISO-KF, ISO-Universal, CF and ButtWeld fittings. The HPS gauge line includes standard and convection Pirani gauges and hot and cold cathode ionization gauges.
