Electro's Refractory Superfines
"Our Superfines have been tested and are proven successful in multiple ceramic and refractory applications," stated Kristine Ramming, product manager.
Highlighted in the new Superfines Product Specification Sheet are Water Classified 800/1000 (7 Micron), F1200 (3 Micron), 1200 Finer (2.5 Micron), and Air Classified 2 Micron SiC and B4C. "Producing these Superfines at our facility, keeps the product very cost efficient for refractory applications," Ramming added.
Besides ceramic and refractory applications, Superfine SiC and B4C are used in aerospace, blasting, composites, compounds, honing stones, lapping, polishing, sawing silicon and quartz, grinding wheels and more.
The SiC and B4C chemistry and custom sizing is controlled to meet the needs for ceramic and refractory applications.
Superfines are manufactured at Electro's water-classified, state-of-the-art facilities in Buffalo, New York. The Superfines meet or exceed JIS, ISO and FEPA Standards. Electro Abrasives also has warehouse stock available in Houston and Los Angeles.
