A new gas monitoring system designed to detect and measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hydrocarbons, benzene and other gases is now available. Extremely sensitive and highly specific, the PureAire HC/VOC Monitoring System is capable of detecting parts-per-million concentrations of gases traditionally monitored at LEL levels. Moreover, its unique detection technique eliminates interferences from other hydrocarbons which may be present.
The HC/VOC Monitoring System includes everything required for continuous surveillance: sensor cell, pyrolyzer, and sample pump. Measurement information is output as a 4-20 mA analog signal. The system is housed in an explosion-proof enclosure and is suitable for installation in Class I, Division 1, Group B, C, and D hazardous areas. It operates on 24 VDC power and may be located up to 3200 feet from a centralized controller or PLC.
