The Bethlehem Corporation-heated drums provide high thermal efficiency in removing water/solvents from a wide range of solutions, slurries and suspensions. The main frames are constructed of heavy duty cast iron or fabricated carbon steel, while the drying drums themselves are constructed from high grade cast iron, hard chrome plate, hard chrome/nickel plate on cast iron, stainless steel or custom alloys.
Options include fixed or variable speed drive, conveyors, automatic feed controls and product breakers. Advantages of the dryers are high thermal efficiency and a steam ratio consumption to evaporation as low as 1.2: 1. They are available in the following sizes:
