Data collection is an essential part of data management. To unlock the information from the data, you need to be able to safeguard the integrity of raw data and rapidly convert it into a common format so that analysis can be performed. IDS offers a library of binary data readers that are integrated into dataBASE, so data can be automatically imported from most of the major test and inspection systems. A general purpose ASCII reader is also provided, making it possible to import ASCII data files in almost any format.
Fast, flexible data retrieval is also essential to efficient data management. Data must be accessible, easily related and quickly retrieved before any analysis can be performed. dataBASE allows you to establish relationships between wafers, lots, products, product families, tests and test programs - before retrieval.
