Customers Rank Plasma-Therm Among '10 Best' Semi Equipment Companies in the World

Plasma-Therm, Inc. (St. Petersburg, FL) has been recognized as one of the "10 best" companies in a customer satisfaction survey for capital equipment suppliers, the company announced this week. The annual study, conducted by VLSI Research, Inc. and based on confidential survey results of semiconductor manufacturing customers, rated Plasma-Therm as one of the world's best suppliers of small wafer processing equipment.

"It is great to see new companies gain top 10 status in the survey," said Lisa Steele, vice president of the Customer Satisfaction Survey for VLSI Research. "Plasma-Therm has been a leader in specialty technologies in the semiconductor industry over the last 20 years. Through its successful customer relationships and partnerships, PTI was able to receive this award in 1998."

Plasma-Therm Inc. produces plasma process equipment primarily used by manufacturers requiring expertise in thin film etching and deposition.
