Custom Bonded Liners

Edlon-PSI manufactures and markets a broad range of reinforced fluoropolymer linings for a variety of process equipment including mixing tanks, columns, vessels, transport tanks and pipe sections.

Virgin fluoropolymer sheet is laminated to knit glass, polyester or carbon fabric backing. Liners are fabricated from this material using Edlon-PSI's proprietary welding technology. Finally, the lining is bonded to the structure using either a flexible elastomer, or a low temperature or a high temperature bonding system. Systems provide corrosion protection, and resist delamination and permeation at temperatures up to 300° F (150° C), even under severe agitation or vacuum conditions.

Edlon-PSI technicians will install bonded liners in existing units or provide new equipment. Tanks, vessels and piping are manufactured to ASME Code, API Code or DOT specifications. Vessel liners can be overlayed with fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) to provide a dual laminate, all plastic structure. These vessels have been built to meet ASME Section X requirements.
