Corona Ionizer

The QuadBar Model 4630 has a compact size and unique emitter point configuration. This corona ionizer provides effective static charge control as close as three inches from a product surface in the ambient air inside the tight spaces of production equipment. Using the patented, intrinsically balanced IsoStat Technology, this ionizer comes with single crystal silicon emitter points.

The quadropole configuration serves to neutralize electric fields produced by the ionizer's four oppositely charged emitter points (two negative points and two positive points). This feature permits the ionizer to be placed as close as three to 12 inches from a product surface. The 3.6 inch size of this product and its system design that performs without airflow make it suitable for mini-environments and process tools where both space and laminar airflow are at a minimum.

Dissipation of static charge in production equipment is realized through the discharge times and stable balance. This product interfaces with a Facilities Monitoring System or process tool controller for immediate notification in the rare event of a system failure. The 24 VAC input power means the system can connect to a tool's power source or can function using a small transformer.
