Compact FTIR Gas Analyzer

Avacus, Inc.Dx-4000 portable, multicomponent gas analyzer is 18 in. x 18 in. x 9 in. and 31 lbs. This analyzer is a major development in the application of FTIR measurement technology to industrial analysis, according to the company. The unit's mobility is further enhanced by its design, extremely stable interferometer, rapid deployment and set-up, and optional 12-volt DC operation. The analyzer can simultaneously detect and analyze up to 30 different (inorganic or organic) gases or vapors in only one second.

The unit has a dynamic range, measuring concentration levels from PPM to percent. It has a temperature controlled gas sample cell that can be heated up to 200^oC, eliminating condensation and complying with the EPA's FTIR methods. This gas cell also has long-term corrosion resistance, enabling continuous monitoring of hot, wet, corrosive samples. The analyzer has a range of applications including industrial hygiene, emissions monitoring, HAZMAT, ambient air quality, and online analysis.
