Catalyst Semiconductor Launches Three New Families of Voltage Supervisors

Catalyst
Santa Clara, CA - Catalyst Semiconductor, Inc., a supplier of analog, mixed-signal and non-volatile memory semiconductors, recently launched three new families of voltage supervisors with the industry's broadest selection of embedded memory. The CAT130xx supervisor family offers 1-, 4-, 8- and 16-kbit embedded EEPROM with Microwire serial interface. The CAT140xx and CAT150xx provide 2-, 4-, 8- and 16-kbit embedded EEPROM with I2C and SPI serial interface protocols, respectively.

The three new Catalyst voltage supervisor families offer seven reset threshold voltage options from 2.32V to 4.63V to support 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V and 5V systems. The reset function is available with either CMOS active low or CMOS active high output options.

"Catalyst is the first company to offer such an extensive range of embedded EEPROM memory and supervisor combinations," said Scott Brown, Vice President of Marketing for Catalyst Semiconductor. "Now designers have a choice of integrating a voltage supervisor with any serial EEPROM from 1-kbit density up to 16-kbits to achieve the exact solution needed for the specific application."
