AutoSimulations, a Brooks Automation company, is the leader in semiconductor shop floor integration, real time dispatching and factory simulation. The AutoSimulations Productivity Family (APF) software suite provides tools for continuous improvement of operations, capacity improvement analysis, real time scheduling and dispatching, planning, material transport analysis, 300mm issues and complex equipment modeling.

The APF consists of three major software tools: the Real Time Dispatcher ™ developed for real-time scheduling and dispatching, APF Reporter which transforms raw data from the user's manufacturing execution system (MES) into useful analysis information, and the AutoSched ™ AP simulator which allows manufacturers to test "what-if" ideas for improving their fab, assembly or test facilities. APF offers off-the-shelf integration with PROMIS ™, WorkStream ™, FACTORYworks ™ and Poseidon MES systems. Unique MES interception technology gives customers solutions with implementation time measured in hours to days - as opposed to the traditional months to years.

Demand for the APF has been fueled by the large benefits that AutoSimulations software delivers. Customers have increased throughput as much as 20 percent and decreased work in process and cycle time 40 percent without the need to add additional equipment or personnel.
