AutoSched AP Simulation
Featured at Semicon West
AutoSimulations, Inc., releases the AutoSched AP simulation and scheduling software designed to schedule and test theoretical ideas for improving productivity of manufacturing facilities. New features in AutoSched AP v6.0 include a new Java-based controller, a redesigned graphical user interface (GUI) Client/server improvements, improved backward allocation functionality, added links to AutoSimulations' Productivity Family (APF) software suite, and enhancements to the semiconductor extension module with specialized functionality requested by semiconductor manufacturers.
AutoSched AP is one component of AutoSimulations' Productivity Family (APF) software suite. The APF suite is designed for continuous improvement of manufacturing, capacity analysis, real-time dispatching, and scheduling. The APF components operate independently, together, or in a seamless integration with MES applications including PROMIS, WorkStream, and FACTORYworks. AutoSched AP's semiconductor extension module automates the modeling of cluster tools, wafer-to-die conversion, reticles, operator preemption, batch processing, wet bench sequential batch processing, subroutes, and more. With AutoSched AP, theoretical ideas for improving semiconductor fab, assembly, or test facilities can be simulated in minutes without the risk, expense, or disruption of experimenting in the actual fab.
In addition to AutoSched AP, the AutoSimulations' Productivity Family software suite includes the Real Time Dispatcher (RTD), developed for real-time scheduling. RTD enables manufacturers to address setup, priority, and complex batching logic and to develop multi-criteria scheduling rules specific to their factory or fab. The ISS Reporter (ISS) transforms raw data from the MES into useful information enabling better understanding of production processes and problem sources. APF and AutoSched AP v6.0 will be demonstrated in AutoSimulations' booth #3016 at Semicon West FE and at booth #10631 Semicon West BE.
