IBM, Microelectronics Divisionriented manufacturing execution system for semiconductor manufacturers, designated SiView Standard, complies with SEMATECH CIM Framework and Object Management Group standards and integrates third-party software packages. The object-oriented toolset allows users to transform plant floor operations to meet changing conditions, including movement to 300-mm production. The system can be retrofit into existing production and allows operation immediately after installation. The main modules include Specification Manager, Material Manager, Automation Manager, Scheduler, Central Floor Monitor, Statistical Process Control, and Reporting.
